Specific Requirements.
 

1The three phase automated transformer turns ratio test set shall be capable of carrying out the following field tests on all distribution and transmission power transformers
(i)   Measure the turns ratio of the three phase simultaneously in the ranges 0.8:≥10,000 using the IEEE C57.12.90 measurement method
(ii)   Measure three phase excitation current of power transformers
(iii)   Measure the phase angle deviation between the high and low voltage windings of power transformer

3.1.2The test set shall be capable of carrying out automatic self calibration and diagnosis before and after each test

3.1.3The software shall allow for data input of the transformer turns ratio and its entire taps

3.1.4It shall be supplied with all the necessary accessories for carrying out the intended test in electrical plant and equipments

3.1.5The equipment shall be capable of testing at leased 130 different types of medium and high voltage 3-phase transformers as defined by the ANSI and IEC standards

3.1.6The power supply shall be from an internal 12Vdc rechargeable Nickel-Calcium battery or 240V ac 50Hz
